Grootslang

This powerful Cryptid hides in South Africa. It is a powerful swimmer, so it can often be sighted near water. In Zulu mythology, one of the first creatures the gods created was the Grootslang. The gods realized it would destroy everything if it was allowed to live, so they split them into the elephant and the snake. One or several survivors make up today's population. It lures elephants into a bottomless pit to devour them.

Sheepsquatch

This Cryptid seems pretty weird by most standards. It has been seen in Boone County, West Virginia. It has off white sheep wool, sharp horns like a goat, boar tusks, sharp teeth, an opossum tail, and deer hooves. In the 1890s it terrorized coal miners. It weighs around 700 lbs. It is about 7 ft tall. It is an omnivorous creature. It has a skunk like spray which burns the eyes and nose. It is very aggressive when cornered.

Mokele Mbembe

The animal is said to be of a brownish-gray color with a smooth skin, its size approximating that of an elephant; at least that of a hippopotamus. It is said to have a long and very flexible neck and only one tooth but a very long one; some say it has a horn. A few spoke about a long muscular tail like that of an alligator. Its name translates to “one who blocks rivers” because of its massive size. It lives in rivers and lakes, and feeds on aquatic vegetation.

Con Rit

This cryptid is sighted in the Vietnam sea. It is 60 feet in length, and is in the shape of a centipede. It is covered in armor, and has fins instead of legs. As well, the Con Rit has powerful poison. The creature is known for being blindly aggressive and attacking any ship it sees.

Kappa

These demonic little creatures can be sighted in Japanese waters. It is similar to a dwarf with a tortoise shell, webbed hands, a beak, scraggly hair, and a dip in the top of its skull. The water it holds in the dip in its skull holds all its energy, you can stop a Kappa by bowing to it and making lose its energy when the water falls out. This strange beast is known to attack people, and is a fairly well believed creature from Japanese mythology.

Trunko

This creature is thought to be an aquatic equivalent of an elephant. It has a long trunk, white fur, polar bear-like skin, and a tail like a shrimp. The Trunko is a creature known as a globster, which is a mass of flesh that washes up on shore. The Trunko is the only known globster to be seen alive. It was observed fighting killer whales.

An aggressive creature found in the lochs of Ireland. Its name means "water dog," this suggests creatures like giant otters. These beasts are known to attack and kill people too close to the water. It has sometimes been compared to a crocodile.

Devil Monkey

This creature is sighted in the American Western states. It is about 5 feet in height, has three toed feet with claws, and small pointed ears. It has a body similarly shaped like a large kangaroo. Often times a horrible odor is reported before this creature is sighted. It is highly aggressive and is known to kill livestock, dogs, and it will attack humans.

Snallygaster

This lesser known beast of Maryland is very dangerous and very strange. A mix between something reptilian, and a large bird, with the added feature of tentacles from the mouth. It is aggressive and often depicted carrying off children and livestock. According to some studies the Snallygaster is equally as quick and agile on the ground as in the air. And of course the name is REALLY fun to say.

Kasai Rex

This large cryptid is a type of dinosaur known as a theropod, which is a family of dinosaurs along with the tyrannosaurus. The Kasai Rex is red in color, and is covered in black tiger-like stripes. There have been around 20 sightings from the Congolese jungles of Africa. There are 2 additional sightings that are highly disputed due to hoaxed photos along with them. According to multiple sightings the Kasai Rex likes to eat rhinos.

Bunyip

This creature is a semi-aquatic creature is native to Australia. It is an aboriginal myth and said to be a malevolent demon. It eats and kills people with tusks, claws, and fangs. It lives in rivers, lakes, swamps, and billabongs. It is assumed to be about five feet in length, and many theorize it could be a form of seal, or sea lion.

The Mapinguari is a cryptid native to South America. In Cryptozoology it is often thought to be a large prehistoric form of ground sloth. Its said to be reddish in color and have  huge claws, and a loud piercing cry. In earlier legends it was described as a giant hairy humanoid with one eye, and a mouth over its stomach.

The Waheela is a large northern cryptid native to Canada and Alaska. It is a large wolf like cryptid and described as very aggressive. It's head is proportionally larger than the rest of it's body. It is sometimes assumed to be the extinct Dire Wolf, a wolf as large as a bear. They sometimes hunt in packs but can also be seen hunting alone.

Onza

The Onza is a cryptid reported in the mountainous regions of Mexico. It looks similar to a cougar besides it having a longer tail, longer ears, and longer legs. It's also thought to be much more aggressive than cougars. A creature fitting this creature was killed but the Onza was not definitively proven from the dead specimen.

The Cherufe is a creature from Chilean mythology. It is described as looking like a 12 foot tall, lizard like humanoid living in the volcanoes of the area that cause volcanic eruptions. People would often throw people into the volcanoes as human sacrifices for the Cherufe to eat. Instead of scales the Cherufe had hard rock like skin with lava mixed in.

The  Mothman is a large humanoid cryptid sighted in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. It has large wings and huge red glowing eyes. It's often sighted on old bridges and other broken down places, it is believed to cause disasters in these areas. Looking into its eyes is said to have a strange effect on those who see them. He is believed to have supernatural powers such as teleportation. It is reported to make a loud humming noise when it flies.
